The Minnesota AIDS Project envisions a world free of AIDS. Our mission is to lead Minnesota's fight to stop HIV through advocacy, education and service. Founded in 1983, the Minnesota AIDS Project (MAP) is a statewide, nonprofit agency committed to enhancing the lives of people living with HIV, prevention education for those at risk for HIV, and advocating for the rights of all affected by HIV. Fremont Community Health Services (FCHS) is a community health center that operates three primary care clinics in North and Northeast Minneapolis.  We have been a presence in these communities for thirty years.  Our mission is to make basic health services available to low-income and uninsured people and we do this through the use of a sliding fee scale that charges the uninsured based on their income and household size. We make our services “culturally accessible” through the use of interpreters and a focus on patient education.  Each year FCHS serves about 8,500 people who make over 28,000 visits.

The Red Door Clinic is located in the Hennepin County Health Services Building. The clinic, a service of the Hennepin County Community Health Department, provides confidential diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, such as gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, and chlamydia. The clinic also serves as a counseling and testing center for HIV/AIDS antibody test. Ryan White Care Act services are available for HIV-positive individuals.
